This was a super hi-value piece BEFORE it was made out to gangster Al Capone and dated in Cibb's hand from 1931. It was signed for $500.00, a huge sum back then and actually cancelled by the bank since Capone was a wanted man. Great story, black flair signed by Cobb along the bottom, and in full name "Tyrus R. Cobb". It has a tear along the top that can be mostly matted and framed away, and value of a normal Cobb check approaches a grand-whats this one worth?
