This vintage cachet has four different three cent stamps affixed, and is dated May 22, 1944. It has a red, white and blue border, is in EX condition overall, measuring approximately 3.5x6.5" in size, and comes hand-signed in black fountain pen ink by legendary baseball immortal, Ty Cobb. This is, in truth, one of the finest examples that I've seen from him, grading a legible 8-8.5, and bold enough to see from 25 feet away! A gorgeous piece that is worthy of the finest collections, and valued into the very high hundreds!
