This outstanding and historic piece is a 17x23 full front sports page from The San Francisco Chronicle Sporting Green, dated Tuesday, February 10, 1925. There are lots of different articles, including Walter Johnson, Paavo Nurmi, Jack Dempsey, and one about a new contract for Rogers Hornsby. It is hand-signed boldly in black fountain pen ink by the 2 time Triple Crown winner, now appearing chocolate in color due to aging, but grading a very solid, legible 7. This gorgeous, vintage piece will show off swimmingly when framed for display, and values into the PRICELESS range!!!!!!
